I started taking C to the library recently. We first went to a storytime for kids in the 1’s. There were 30 kids there! I was wondering how the storytime would capture the kids’ interest. It turns out that it’s a librarian/volunteer singing songs and entertaining with hand puppets. C enjoyed it quite a bit. She loves gathering books and pushing them all around. She doesn’t quite have the attention span when we’re there to sit and be read to by S or by me!
One thing that amazed me is the amount of books (yes, I know it’s a library!). I didn’t realize there were so many children’s books available.
